Abstract

Inspired by the success of supervised bagging and boosting algorithms, we propose non-adaptive and adaptive re-sampling schemes for the integration of multiple independent and dependent clustering. We investigate the effectiveness of bagging techniques, comparing the efficacy of sampling with and without replacement, in conjunction with several consensus algorithms. In our adaptive approach, individual partitions in the ensemble are sequentially generated by clustering specially selected subsamples of the given data set. The sampling probability for each data point dynamically depends on the consistency of its previous assignments in the ensemble. New subsamples are then drawn to increasingly focus on the problematic regions of the input feature space. The comparison of adaptive and non-adaptive approaches is a new avenue for research, and this study helps to pave the way for the useful application of distributed data mining methods.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

This paper assesses how well sustainable urbanisation is promoted in Nigeria using green building rating systems. A survey of construction industry professionals and a study of a sustainable building project in Lagos are among the mixed-methods research techniques used in this study. The results show that while sustainable building assessment systems can promote sustainable building practices, their application in Nigeria is constrained by several challenges. These include financial limitations, a lack of understanding and awareness of the rating system, and a lack of government support. The report suggests adopting a more thorough approach to sustainable urbanization, resolving financial restrictions, raising awareness and expertise of green building rating systems, and doing additional research........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

This research delves into the impact of life skills on the educational adjustment of students in central India, focusing on how life skills training affects students' ability to manage academic challenges, adapt to school settings, and attain academic success. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews, data was gathered from a diverse student sample to analyze the link between life skills development and educational adjustment. Results highlight significant correlations between specific life skills like communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation, and students' academic performance, attendance, and overall well-being in school. The study underscores the crucial role of educational institutions and teachers in imparting life skills education and fostering positive student outcomes. The findings hold implications for designing effective interventions and curriculum enhancements to bolster students' comprehensive development and academic achievements in central India.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

The present study was undertaken to examine the life-skills in relation to the self-concept of female students in BPSMV, Khanpur kalan, Sonipat. 100 girls (50 hosteler and 50day scholars) of the BPSMV, Khanpur kalan, Sonipat. Self-concept rating by R.K. Saraswat (New Delhi) and Life- skill Assessment scale by Nair A.R.K. Subasree R. Ranjan Sunitha is used for data collection. Mean, Standard deviation, correlation and 't' test were used as statistical techniques to analyse the data. The study found that there is low/high positive correlation between life skill and self-concept. Further it can be inferred that higher the life skills better the self-concept will be.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

In microwave bands the 5G standers are covered in two bands: Frequency Range 1 (FR1), from 410 MHz to 7125 MHz and Frequency Range 2 (FR2), from 24.25 GHz to 71.0 GHz. In this paper, the antenna design is modified for better return loss(S11) in the frequency spectrum proposed for 5G mobile applications. The proposed antenna can be implemented based on circular patch shape. Various circular slots are provided to improve the S11 and the ground is modified to improve the bandwidth radiation band. The proposed patch is prited on low cost FR-4 substrate with εr=4.4, tanδ=0.02 and dimensions 50mm (Ls) × 50mm (Ws) × 1.6mm (h), while maintaining good performance in terms of gain and efficiency. The proposed antennas have been characterized using the commercially available software Ansoft's HFSS (High frequency structure simulator).

Abstract

The industry of fruits is one of the most important industries out there. Freshness of fruit, its qualities like size, shape, taste are important parameters considered by the consumers. The purpose of this study is to grade the fruits according to their quality like raw and ripe, size and shape. This study benefits the agricultural industry, fruit processing industry and much more. Manually sorting the fruits is time consuming and prone to errors. This automated grading system not only saves labor cost and time but also provide product of best quality with very limited errors. Classifying the fruits in different grades can help evaluating the price of the fruit. This helps both providers and consumers with effective cost and quality........
