Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

The aim of this study is to show that production design may be applied using artificial neural networks (ANN) and time series analysis in the establishment of chickpea production amount model and in forecasting in Turkey by years. In the development of ANN and time series analysis, parameter of years was used as an input parameter and production amount was used as an output parameter. The suitable of the model developed was determined using statistical parameters such as Square Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC).The results show that chickpea production will have a fluctuating course in production from 2019 to 2025. It was observed that ANN models gave better results than time series analysis in chickpea production prediction in Turkey.

Bayu Pasupati, T. Husain
Indonesia
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

Audit reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic was inseparable from the length or the shortness of the audit delay. In Indonesia and several countries, the deadline for submitting audit reports has also become a separate issue through an agreement to change the audit plan with clients that impact the impact of the extension of audit report submission on the credit agreement and business continuity. This research is only limited to reviewing the audit delay time due to the impact of COVID-19 based on several countries' regulations and finding the best solution to reduce delays at the end of the next year. This study is a non-causality that aims to compare several situations so that knowing the different situations can predict the factors that cause differences. Data analysis verified important activity as several audit phenomena were mentioned during the scriptwriting COVID-19 Pandemic........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

In this article the antioxidant activity of selected Greek red wines was investigated and correlated to early maturation / storage. For this purpose 12 single-variety Greek red wines, of the vintages of 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 were selected. Reactivity of wine samples against 1,1- diphenyl-2-dipicrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical wereperformedwhichshowed a decrease (in the majority of the samples) in antioxidant activity caused bystoragein barrels/ maturation in glass bottles. This phenomenon may be connected with decrease in anthocyanines content as well as to reactions converting the low molecular to high molecular-weight phenolics.

Keywords: Greek red wines, phenolic compounds, antioxidant activity, free radical, bottle storage, maturation, DPPH.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

This project aims to elaborate the construction of a prototype of parasol which captures solar energy through portable photovoltaic panels. The great motivation for this project is the creation of a product capable of providing clean energy in regions where it would not be possible, such as open fields and beaches, in addition to the possibility of using this product in open area of restaurants and bars, thus offering greater convenience to customers. This work deals with a study of how photovoltaic panels work, as well as calculating their energy intake and energy efficiency. Other factors, such as specification of materials and electronic devices, were also addressed and studied, resulting, at the end of the Project, in the idealization of a parasol with ideal solar capture.

Abstract

Every production technology struggles with production accuracy, which is an essential part of the quality of the final product. The accuracy of the manufactured part depends on the selection of a suitable production technology. Additive production is slowly becoming one of the standard production technologies and is beginning to be commonly used, especially in the case of the production of special components and parts. The published article deals with an experiment that examines the accuracy of manufactured parts produced by FDM / FFF technology. The design of the tested parts, the method of production and measurement, as well as the evaluation process and the results of the experiment are presented.Measured is vertical thickness of parts, which is influenced by number of printed layers and the internal logic of slicing softvare.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

Application errors can provide toxicity to coffee plants, burdening productive costs and reducing the physiological performance of plants. The objective of this work was to quantify the exodrift and soil deposition in simulated herbicide spraying in Conilon coffee inter-rows using different application technologies. The experiment was conducted in a randomized block design in a 4×4 factorial scheme, with four compositions of spraying equipment (knapsack sprayer with fan nozzle without "Napoleon's hat"; knapsack sprayer with fan nozzle with Napoleon's hat; knapsack sprayer with air induction nozzle, and electrostatic knapsack sprayer) and four collection positions of syrup deposition (weed, soil, lower half of the coffee tree, and upper half of the coffee). To evaluate the deposition of the canopy, two leaves of each plant were collected, one in the lower third and the other immediately above, all of them positioned at the median depth of the plant........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to research and describe ways of utilizing Excavations, Constructions and Demolition Waste (ECDW) in technical projects in Greece. The main characteristic of ECDW is its large volume and embodied resource. It constitutes a large fraction of the total waste produced worldwide. Therefore, both Greece and the European Union, have implemented legislation in order to address the issue of the proper management of this type of waste. The recycling goals set by the European plans are considered quite advanced for the Greek state. Even though the collection, transfer and treatment infrastructure system has been growing rapidly the last decade, recycling and re-use in Greece is still minimal. Research and application examples, which are presented in this research, aiming to reduce the volume of waste which is disposed in landfills or the environment.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

Anaerobic digestion is a complex biochemical process and one of the most widespread methods for the treatment of high organic content waste, aiming at the production of biogas (energy) (Tsonis et al. 1988, Wujsik and Jewell 1980, Haberl et. al. 1991) while treating the waste, as well as at the production of energy from plant biomass (Chynoweth et al. 1987). A common process objective is the maximisation of the biogas production. A two-state model was developed for the simulation of an experimental reactor (CSTR), fed with acetic acid. This type of feeding is very important, as quite often anaerobic digestion is carried out in two sequential reactors, a hydrogen and fatty acids (mainly acetate) producing hydrolysis reactor, followed by a methanogenic reactor, which produces biogas (methane and carbon dioxide).........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

This study aims to determine the bending strength of a sandwich composite material with a polyester skin reinforced with fiberglass and banana stem fiber with the coreParaserianthes falcataria wood. The skin was made by hand lay up method, with a volume fraction of 10% glass fiber and a banana stem fiber volume fraction of 10%, 20% and 30%. The sandwich composite was made by gluing skin and sengon marine wood core composites. The test carried out is the bending strength test with ASTM C393 standards. The test results showed that the highest average bending strength of 53.81 MPa was obtained in sandwich composites with polyester skin with a volume fraction of 10% glass fiber and 30% banana stem fiber, while the lowest average bending strength of 41.43 MPa was obtained at 10% glass fiber sandwich composite and 10% addition of banana stem fiber. So it can be concluded that the addition of volume fraction of banana stem fiber has an effect on the bending strength of the sandwich composite material.
