Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

The foundation of a building connects the main body superstructure to the ground. Every form of foundation and footing has a unique application in a given location for a certain weather condition. Understanding the foundation work is crucial for carrying out building activities.Due to the variety of structures they support, foundations are frequently built in different subsoil conditions and are exposed to static loads. The proper evaluation of soil bearing capacity is fundamental to the construction of various buildings. One of the quick, easy, and affordable ways for determining soil carrying capacity is the plate load test.......

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

Low-cost housing projects are a fundamental part of developing sustainable homes for the population in third world countries. Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa, and is experiencing problems such as rapid population growth rate, uncontrolled urbanisation, housing deficit estimated at 17 million units, deforestation and erosion which directly affect the population's well-being. These problems prompted the then Imo State Government in 2002 to construct eighty units of Compressed Stabilised Earth Brick (CSEB) low cost houses for the public at Avu-Owerri. By constructing this demonstration houses, the unfamiliar simple technologies used were meant to be spread to the society......

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

The work reported in this paper is focused on the performance of a thermoacoustic refrigerator under various operating conditions. The experiments were conducted with differentresonatormaterials like Aluminium and PVC. Stack having parallel plates of Mylar material with 0.12mm thick spaced with 0.36mm.Aluminiumresonator coated with polyurethane material from inside to reduce conduction heat losses. Helium gas was used as a working fluid. The experiments were also conducted with different drive ratio ranging from 1.5 to 2.5% with varying heating load from 2W to 10W. During the experimentsoperating frequencies from 200Hz to 600Hz with mean pressure varying from 2 bar to 10 bar in steps of 2 bar each were considered......

Vietnam
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

Higher education is increasingly valued and considered as a top important policy for the development and intellectual strength of a country. Following that trend, Vietnam has been giving a lot of priority and investment to modernize education. In addition to constantly improving the quality of the teaching staff, the investment in facilities is also getting more and more attention. This is reflected in the facilities of the school, in which the library is the place that shows the strongest investment they make for both students and lecturers. Technology development has penetrated every corner of life, including education, creating better conditions for learning and teaching, helping lecturers and students to update their knowledge easily and fast. Furthermore, the library system at universities is equally important in providing.

Roles of customer experience toward customer satisfaction in the beauty industry
Le Thi Hai Van
Vietnam
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

This research has focused on the beauty industry, which is said to be growing stronger and more competitive. The selected respondents are those who have been using spa services. Data were processed and analyzed with excel and SPSS 20 software. As expected, customer experience has the strongest influence on customer experience. This result is consistent with studies in previous contexts, as well as with the actual situation of this industry when people are increasingly interested in discovering and enjoying new and fun things around them. Next is the brand image and service quality, which is also considered to be consistent with the research in the service context and the current trend, when people no longer have to worry about being full but must be satisfied, delicious, beautiful, and trendy. Meanwhile, price negatively affects customer satisfaction, this is consistent with reality and human psychology, and it also reflects the implication of previous scholars' definitions. Some implications have been provided for managers.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

This paper presents a deep learning approach to emotion detection, gender recognition, and height recognition. We use a convolutional neural network to extract features from images and use those features to detect emotions, recognize gender, and predict height. The CNN model is trained using a large dataset of faces and their related attributes. We use a combination of transfer learning and fine-tuning techniques to improve the model's performance. We also compare the performance of CNN with traditional machine learning techniques. Our results show that the CNN model outperforms traditional methods in terms of accuracy, precision, and recall.........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

Heterogenity of tastes and expectations adds to the difficulty of a single overriding and preferable conduct-determining conception, in the light of urban population distribution, size and structure optimization. Low fertility rates reinforce life expectancy improvements resulting in consequential population demographic groups in their 70s, 80s and older, showing implications on the economic strength. India estimates that 35 percent of its eligible couples were sterilized or use other modern birth control methods. The paper explained a few methods to control population growth in India in particular and across the globe, in general

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 2

Abstract

In this paper we have considered a new class of Kaluza-Klein five dimensional cosmological model filled with perfect fluid in the framework of 𝑓(𝑅,𝑇) theory with an appropriate choice of function 𝑓(𝑅,𝑇)=𝑅+2𝑇 and time varying deceleration parameter, we have obtained the exact solutions of the field equations. Different characteristics of physical and dynamical properties of the model are discussed by using graphics. Also, we have studied the behaviour of designed cosmological models in different angles with sense of present epoch.
