Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

This study investigates the photooxidation of Roxithromycin and Erythromycin, two prevalent antibiotics found in antibiotic industry wastewater, utilizing a CeO₂/ZnO nanocomposite as a photocatalyst. The synthesized CeO₂/ZnO nanocomposite exhibits enhanced photocatalytic activity under sun light irradiation, promoting the degradation of these antibiotics. Various parameters, including catalyst loading, initial antibiotic concentration, and reaction time, were systematically optimized to assess their influence on the photocatalytic efficiency. The results indicate significant degradation rates for both antibiotics. These findings underscore the potential of CeO₂/ZnO nanocomposites as a viable solution for the remediation of antibiotic-contaminated wastewater, contributing to environmental sustainability and public health protection.

Keywords: cerium oxide, zinc oxide, photocatalytic degradation, antibacterial activity.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

Design Thinking is an innovative approach to problem solving that promotes hands-on and systems thinking. This study explores how Design Thinking can be applied in higher education to create an interactive learning environment that is appropriate to Kolb's four learning styles: Diverger, Assimilator, Converger, and Accommodator. Research confirms that Design Thinking is an innovative and effective learning method, especially suitable for higher education environments where students need to develop practical and creative skills to meet the demands of the modern labor market. Integrating Design Thinking with Kolb's learning style characteristics creates a flexible learning environment that encourages active participation and helps students explore their abilities through real-life experiences, while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills - core elements in education and future work.

Abstract

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter, which is a chemical messenger that transmits signals in the brain and other areas of the nervous system. It plays a crucial role in various physiological functions and is involved in regulating mood, movement, attention, and the brain's reward system. In the context of Alzheimer's disease and neurodegenerative disorders, dopamine is one of the neurotransmitters that can be affected. Dopaminergic pathways are particularly associated with movement and cognitive functions. Imbalances or deficiencies in dopamine levels have been implicated in various neurological and psychiatric conditions, including Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease...........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 14 ~ Issue 11

Abstract

Rapid technological improvements are advantageous to library management. Using Quick Response Codes and RFID technologies as automatic identifiers in library administration is one example. Inaccurate book availability information, a dearth of services for human resources library management, and no assurances about the safety management of the library's collection are only a few of the problems that libraries are currently facing. This project addresses the problems by creating a library management information system that creates automatic identification through the use of Near Field Communication and QR Code technologies. Each library patron has an NFC card, which is used to save their personal data...........
