Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 1
This work studies the behavior of AISI 314 steel subjected to an atmosphere rich in hydrocarbons at high temperatures, verifying the reasons that led to the collapse of stainless steel. The alloy was analyzed by optical emission spectrometry to determine the original composition and after its use in service. The research conditions took place at a temperature of 1200 º C. The Vickers microhardness test demonstrated a decrease in microhardness from the surface towards the core. With the use of Optical Microscopy (OM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), it was possible to observe the presence of Cr segregations, along the grain boundaries......

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 1
Big earthquakes with the intensity of earth-quaking from VII degrees to IX degrees were forecasted to be able to occur in Viet Nam. Therefore, studying to calculate the impacts of earthquakes on building structures in Viet Nam is very necessary. This paper studies the influence of different types of soil on the structural system of high-rise buildings when the building is subjected to earthquakes. After analyzing the model in Etabs software, the authors found that different types of ground for displacement, internal force difference up to 167%. At the same time, the authors also proposed a procedure to calculate the earthquake load-bearing structures using the response spectrum of many types of copper vibrations. It helps design engineers to easily apply structural calculations........

The Antioxidant Properties Of Chitosan Encapsulated With The Oleuropein Extracted From Olive Leaf
Gülay Baysal
Turkey
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 1
In this study, the chitosan, a polysaccharide, was encapsulated with oleuroperin. Freeze-drying method was used in the encapsulation process. The freeze cooling temperature was determined as -80 oC. The obtained encapsulated chitosan compounds were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and their molecular weights were determined by the cryoscopy method. The total amount of phenol compounds and the % antioxidant activity of the synthesized compounds were measured by UV spectrophotometer. According to the results of the analysis, the antioxidant activity values of %66.22. Molecular weights were calculated as 67 and 88 kDa for chitosan (CS) and CSx compounds, respectively.

One of the Internet of Things applications that can be made is the monitoring and control of plant cultivation systems. By utilizing the Internet of Things, monitoring and control of the cultivation system can be carried out remotely without direct interaction. In the IoT-based plant monitoring system at the Greenhouse, there is a system that is integrated with Cloud services via the internet. Through this monitoring and automation system, it can later be developed more widely for farmers/Farmers Groups so that they can monitor plant growth, regulate treatment in cultivation, especially watering plants, and control the development of plant production whenever and wherever they are. This technology will assist farmers in carrying out some of the main cultivation activities so as to reduce the amount of labor needed and save time for these activities.

Shifting from being a necessity to a lifeline, the telecommunications industry is now part of the beating heart for nationwide communications as the world navigates times of disruption and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this makes it a key target for cybercriminals wishing to profit from the information held by an array of businesses. Whether it be through financially driven criminal activity or high-powered state-sponsored attacks, the information being targeted has the potential to bring companies to their knees. Looking beyond the financial gain, a successful attack could threaten businesses' external internet traffic and damage customer relationships.

An Example of an Illiterate Increase in the Number of Stories and an Alleged Increase in the Seismic

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 1
It should be immediately clarified what moved the authors of the below described example of an illiterately developed and implemented project to such a risky step. The fact is that some of the "powers that be", representatives of the former (until 2018) authoritarian and corrupt regimes in Armenia, wanted to have apartments in the very center of Yerevan. Naturally, permission to build four more (!) floors on the already existing 8-story building on Amiryan Street in Yerevan was obtained without any delay. In order to somehow give this obviously reckless and risky project some justification, they decided to "dress it in a scientific shell", and in addition to four floors to build an oscillation damper over them. As will be shown below, this device can justifiably be called a spectacle – a "false damper".
