Abstract

Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) is known as one of the teaching methods that actively engage learners to improve their learning abilities. In the context of university teaching, IBL not only helps students develop critical thinking skills but also encourages creativity and self-learning ability. Marketing essentials subject is one of the fundamental subjects that helps students gain knowledge about marketing including products/services, prices, distribution, customer behavior, market,, promotion, branding, etc. This is one of the rich fields, including many different concepts and strategies. Applying the inquiry method in teaching Marketing can help students develop market analysis skills, creative thinking and problem-solving ability. This article presents some steps to apply in the basic marketing subject to help students be interested in learning, improve the quality of teaching and learning in the Faculty as well as in the University.

Abstract

The increase in global temperatures has driven the automotive industry to transition toward electric vehicles as an eco-friendly alternative. However, the impact of rising temperatures on battery systems has become a key focus in their development. This study highlights the crucial role of Battery Management Systems (BMS) in mitigating these effects on electric vehicle battery performance. BMS can be designed with various configurations and must include essential functions such as charger control, contactor operation, cooling system management, and ground isolation protection. Cell characterization is a vital aspect of BMS development........

Abstract

With the rapid diffusion of digital technology, its economic effects on tourism consumption have become increasingly pronounced. Based on panel data from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China spanning 2013 to 2023, a fixed-effects model was constructed to analyze the economic impact and its regional heterogeneity of digital technology diffusion on tourism consumption. The study finds that the diffusion of digital technology significantly promotes the growth of tourism consumption expenditure and optimizes the structure of tourism consumption. Notably, the promotional effect is more pronounced in the economically developed eastern regions, while the central and western regions exhibit relatively weaker effects due to limitations in digital infrastructure and application capabilities.........

Abstract

Stocking, ordering and managing of chemical products for testing purposes in laboratories, in an educational organization with multiple departments and large number of laboratories is a challenge as various chemicals are used in them. Different laboratories need different types of chemicals from very small quantity to large quantity. But a minimum quantity for supplying by the suppliers. Some times the requested laboratory gets 5-10 times than they requested and not utilize before the expire period, while when get a request from another laboratory for the same chemical, supplies devision of the institution repeats the same process to fulfill the order. This excess quantity stocked resulted in problems in managing, waste of money and issues in dispose. Design and implementation of a computerized chemical stock and order management system tailored for educational organizations with multiple departments and laboratories minimize waste and saves money for the organization..........

Abstract

University teaching demands constant reflection. Traditional teaching methods still dominate much of higher education. Contrasting this approach within the university requires an understanding of alternative proposals to ensure a degree of study autonomy for today's students. Extension projects can serve as valuable allies in fostering these reflections. This article aims to explore how undergraduate students can use extension projects to expand the boundaries of their knowledge, going beyond their primary field of study. Our proposal highlights the potential of university extension activities as a resource capable of providing a transdisciplinary education. The article reflects on traditional teaching methods, the profile of the modern student, and how we can achieve transdisciplinarity in their education. Finally, we present an example of an extension project to reinforce the reflections discussed.
