Abstract

Abstract: Since the 1970s, the natural stone industries have been confronting the emergence of novel products in the surfacing market, such as quartz conglomerates and large-format ceramics. Through a bibliographic investigation employing a qualitative approach, this study scrutinizes data disseminated across specialized websites, scientific articles, and dissertations, with the intention of comprehending the marketing and communication strategies employed by competitors. The primary objective is to discern pathways for the modernization and fortification of the natural stone industry in response to a transforming market landscape. The overarching aim of this study is to expound upon the trajectory of natural surfacing materials, concurrently with industrially manufactured counterparts. In conclusion, it is recommended that, through an initiative orchestrated by representative bodies within the natural stone sector, in collaboration with governmental entities, a task force be instituted to facilitate a more enduring future for the sector over the medium and long term..

Abstract

Recommender systems have become increasingly popular in recent years, with many applications in various domains. In this survey paper, we aim to provide an overview of the current state-of-the-art in the field of recommender systems and highlight the latest trends in their development. We review the different techniques and developments of recommender systems that have been used widely. Also, analyzing the growth of recommender systems over time and discuss the reasons behind their increasing popularity. Furthermore, examining how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the use of recommender systems and discuss the potential long-term impact on their development. We also analyze how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected decision-making processes and discuss how recommender systems can help mitigate some of these effects. In addition, explore how recommender systems affect decision-making processes and discuss their potential benefits and drawbacks.

Abstract

This paper presents a simulation-based finite-difference time-domain method supported by the experiment for a metal-dielectric structure consisting of gold and PMMA discs stacked on top of one another on a glass substrate to analyze multiple resonant modes induced on the built-in structure. We found that altering the thickness and radius of the topped-up PMMA makes it possible to control the excited modes at corresponding extinction spectrum peak locations. Our conclusion is entirely confirmed by simulation and experiment that uses the PIMI methods algorithm, which creates images of field distribution with adequate information regarding Sin𝛿, 𝜙, and I-dp.

Abstract

Household waste is waste that comes from daily activities in the household. Garbage that is not managed properly can accumulate every year and decompose, if not managed properly it can cause many diseases from bacteria and viruses. Utilization of household organic waste in the manufacture of briquettes is one of the solutions to overcome waste generation in household waste as well as being used as an alternative fuel to replace fossil fuel and LPG gas. The method used is an experiment with the carbonization process using a modified drum. Dependent variable, adhesive concentration of 5%, 10%, and 15% of 3 grams by weight of briquettes. Independent variable, particle size with sizes of 30 mesh, 60 mesh and 80 mesh.........

Keywords: Household waste, Charcoal briquettes, Adhesives, Particles size, Carbonization.

Abstract

Agriculture plays a crucial role in the Indian Economy as it provides livelihoods for a significant portion of population and contributes to food security. Agricultural growth has a multiplier effect on the entire economy of the country as it has close linkages with other economic sectors. India is said to be global agricultural power house. It is the world`s largest producer of milk, pulses and spices and has the world`s largest cattle hard (buffaloes)as well as the largest area under wheat, rice and cotton. It is the second largest producer of rice, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, farmed fish, shup and goat meat, fruit, vegetables and tea. The country has some 195mha under cultivation of which some 63 percent are rain fed (roughly 125 mha) while 37 percent are irrigated ( 70 mha).In addition forests cover some 65 mha of India`s land.
