Abstract

In today's competitive world, the biggest challenge which the organizations are facing is to retain talented employees. Organizations often try to foster commitment in their employees to achieve stability and reduce costly turnover. It is commonly believed that committed employees will also work harder and are more likely to 'go the extra mile' to achieve organizational objectives. Organizational Commitment has become important for the commercial organizations due to increase in technology level of competition globally and rapid growth of services sector in about all parts of the world. In every information technology sector, the employee plays an important role to accomplish the tasks, objectives, and targets to achieve persistence in the globally competitive world. Thus, it becomes essential for the organizations that their employees become committed and stay in the organization. Organizational commitment is a psychological construction of responsibility that an employee has towards the mission and direction of an organization. This study is to identify the employees' perception of their jobs and how to improve their work commitment towards their organizations.

Abstract

The tea industry plays a significant role in the Indian economy in terms of foreign exchange earnings and providing employment opportunities. For more than a century, the tea industry was the main employment provider, the main source of foreign exchange and the main source of government revenue. Nevertheless, recent statistics suggest that the contribution of the tea industry towards the Indian economy is gradually declining. This study assesses India's competitiveness in the global tea industry. It examines the nature of competition in the global tea industry and identifies the possible strategies and policies that India should adopt in order to improve the competitiveness of the Indian tea industry. The Indian tea industry faces several problems. The area under tea cultivation is stagnant or shrinking.............

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is an indispensible component of the Marketing function and it can be simply defined the number of customers, or percentage of total customers, whose reported experience with a firm, its products, or its services exceeds specified satisfaction goals. With many companies turning customer centric, customer satisfaction levels are measured and plans for its improvement are done by all most all the businesses. Satisfied customers usually buy more and buy frequently. Loyal customers also act best promotional source to new customers. They tend to bring in more and more new customers through word of mouth communication. The taste and preferences of consumer are changed often. Every customer in the market has his/her own Brand Preferences. Customers will be looking for certain attributes before purchasing the products i.e., FMCG.
