Abstract

Order is the way toward finding (or preparing) an arrangement of models (or capacities) that portray and recognize information classes or ideas. That is to be ready to utilize the models to foresee the obscure class marks of cases. We manage the positioning issue in this proposal. The positioning issue is an exceptional instance of the classification issue, where the class marks are positions or appraisals, spoke to by numbers from 1 to q. The positioning issue can likewise be given a role as the way toward preparing a rank-forecast show that appoints each example a rank that is as close as could be expected under the circumstances "to the occurrence's genuine rank. Well known uses of the positioning issue incorporate positioning the significance of website pages, assessing the financial credit of a man, and positioning the dangers of speculations...............

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 9 ~ Issue 1

Abstract

There have been dramatic changes in the field of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) in recent years, and despite the many advancements and changes, there is always a dire requirement for more cost-effective and efficient workholding methods and devices. This basic requirement of holding the workpiece has remained constant. Just as no single machine tool will perform every required operation, no individual jig or fixture can possibly hold every part. CoDeFi is a Concurrent Design of Fixture and part that enhances the manufacturability of the part and hence improves productivity. The idea is to transform a 3-D part design into a 2-D design model that can be accommodated on less sophisticated machinery such as a 3-axis CNC machining center or conventional machining methods. A computer simulation of the method when compared to using a multi-axis CNC machining center has resulted into time saving and code reduction.

Abstract

In this study, the nitrogen and carbon sources, light conditions and higher temperature was applied to batch cultures of Astragalus trojanus Stev. Callus obtained in semi-solid WPM medium supplemented with 1 mg/L 6-benzyladenine and 100 μg/L selenium were transferred to liquid medium with the same composition under dark conditions. In order to investigate the effects of medium composition and culture conditions on biomass, astragaloside IV and cycloastragenol accumulations, 505 mg/L KNO3, 16 g/L glucose, light conditions (1000 lux) and 28°C temperature were implemented to cell cultures. Biomass did not ascend, however, accumulation of astragaloside IV (AST IV) and cycloastragenol (CG) was affected. The highest AST IV (0.3018 μg/mg) and CG (13.160 μg/mg) concentrations were detected in light conditions and KNO3 added medium, respectively. Addition of KNO3 instead of NH4NO3 increased cycloastragenol accumulation, but astragaloside IV decreased. At 28°C, neither of the components can be detected.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 8 ~ Issue 3

Abstract

Driver fatigue is a major exogenous cause of fatal road accidents and has implications for Malaysian road safety. The major aspect that causes human errors is fatigue/drowsiness due to task-induced factors or attitude/behavior of the driver. Therefore, it is necessary to identify significant index to detect driver fatigue and associate that index with the level of alertness, for road safety and for use by regulatory bodies. This can be carried out by observing the physiological behavior through the Event-related potentials (ERPs) and electroencephalography (EEG) measures. ERP's are very small voltage potentials that examine the information processing and characterize the brain structures in response to specific events or stimuli. Studies have shown EEG changes that are time-locked to sensory, cognitive or motor events.............

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 8 ~ Issue 3

Abstract

In this paper, we consider an extension of perturbations to semi-Markov control problems. We then study process perturbations in which the instants between transitions are random variables. The discounted semi-Markov control problem and the limiting average semi-Markov control problem are considered. We proceed to a perturbation on the law transition probabilities and the discounted factor. For this, we consider the particular case where the transition time of the original semi-Markov process is a random variable that follows an exponential law.
