Cocoa cultivation in Indonesia produces cocoa pod huskwaste,which poses a major challenge to the agricultural sector. Cocoa pod husk is rich in nutrients such as a Potassium and Nitrogen, giving it the potential to be used as organic compost. Decomposition which takes a long time in the composting process can be accelerated with the help of the fungus Aspergillus sp. which can produce enzymes to break down the complex compounds contained in cocoa husk into simple compounds that are easily absorbed by plants. Cocoa pod husk waste (Theobroma cacao L.) is an abundant plantation by-product that has not been optimally utilized, despite containing organic compounds such as cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, and nitrogen nutrients that have potential as compost materials. The utilization of this waste can serve as an environmentally friendly organic resource to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. In the context of higher education undergoing fundamental transformations to meet the demands of the knowledge society and digital economy, instructional innovation has become imperative for sustainable educational development. This study examines the dynamic relationships among three key factors: university lecturers' perceptions of instructional innovation, their creative capacity, and the implementation of innovative teaching practices.
