Abstract

The hazardous effect of lead human and other living organisms within the environment cannot be overemphasized. This was the reason why its replacement as drier in paint has attracted much research work in the recent time. In this study Castor see oil and almond seed oil were investigated for use as drier in gloss paint. Gloss paint were produced using standard method with various samples containing the seed oil in different composition of 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3% and 0.4%. Also, samples of the paint containing lead were produced for comparative analysis. All the paint samples were anlysed with standard methods to determine their dry times, spread rat, viscosity, solid content opacity, among others.........

Abstract

The essence of any business is the money that flows through it. Global circumstances impact responsive intervention and often volatile change processes in the telecom industry. There are 108 crore mobile phones in Indian market and only one-third is the share of smart phones. Internet is a transactions based medium serving market intermediaries but not a good vehicle for entertainment. The paper talks of various value added services to save on telecom server costs.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

Irregular buildings have considered more venerable as compared to regular buildings during earthquakes. To prevent the failure of irregular buildings, it is important to provide sufficient earthquake-resisting systems such as a shear wall, bracings, base isolations, etc. the study focused on the effect of shear wall in different positions in L-shaped irregular buildings. In the study number of models are prepared where the shear wall is placed in different positioned in L shape RC buildings and compared with and without a shear wall. The models are analyzed using static and dynamic (Response Spectrum) methods as per IS:1893 2016 in finite elements software ETABs V8.......

Abstract

The scheduling and running of meetings is a challenge for every organization. The suggested system intends to create and implement a paperless appointment and meeting management system for corporate appointment systems, such as hospitals, universities, and corporate offices, manages meetings without paper. Via this software, all of the staff members and directors can schedule meetings with one another. No physical approach is required to schedule the meeting. This app allows any employee at a corporate office to schedule their own appointment. This program has two login methods. One of these is the admin login, when the system administrator sets up a user account for the admin. The term "An Admin" used in this application refers to the Directors and other senior executives of a corporate office.......

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

The focus of this paper is on investigating the optimal operation of an on-site three-phase induction-motor (IM) pumping system that utilizes photovoltaic (PV) power. The study involves both measurement and simulation analyses. The paper aims to investigate and simulate the operation of an on-site induction-motor (IM) pumping system utilizing PV power for optimal performance. To achieve this, the study uses the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique and PI controllers as the main control strategy for operating the system to the maximum power point operation as possible, even under variable solar irradiations. In addition, this article describes experiments conducted to evaluate the performance of a stand-alone PV pumping system that utilizes a three-phase induction motor-shunt and centrifugal pump. The study's measurements and simulations show how the unified system operates........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 13 ~ Issue 4

Abstract

The paper explored how Nigerian architecture is affected by sustainable building grading standards. It uses a mixed-methods approach to incorporate quantitative and qualitative data. Examined are the primary traits and benefits of the green building rating systems now in use in Nigeria. A review of the body of literature on the impact of green building grading systems on Nigerian architecture is provided, along with a list of the knowledge gaps that the present study aims to address. Data are gathered by surveying Nigerian architects, developers, and policymakers who are involved in building planning, construction, and regulation. The findings demonstrate how green building grading systems promote Nigerian architecture. The lack of knowledge and education about the advantages of green construction........

Abstract

This paper also investigates the filtration of oil and solutions, during which solid particles suspended in oil or emulsion droplets are deposited on the surface of the pore channels. The processes under consideration are among the widely studied phenomena of mass transfer in oil-bearing rocks. An analysis of existing approaches to the rheology of non-Newtonian oils and modeling of their flow in porous media has been carried out, which has shown that it is best to use equations that take into account not only the characteristics of a particular fluid, but also the characteristics of the pore formation. It is noted that when solving mathematical models of these processes, it is necessary to take into account the process of adsorption of the displacing solution in the medium, and also take into account that the coefficients of kinetics and diffusion depend on the concentration of the target component..

Keywords: non-Newtonian oils, rheology, filtration, modeling, viscosity.
