Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

The continual depletion of fossil fuels and the rising global energy demand have shifted our attention to renewable energy sources. These resources are not only environmentally friendly and environmentally sustainable, but also have an infinite future. The production of solar energy has a number of benefits over other types of energy, but the main issue is the cost and availability of land for constructing the power plant. This problem will be resolved by a new solar energy technology known as a floating solar power plant. The installation of a floating solar plant on any body of water will directly lower the cost of land and enhance electricity production due to the cooling impact of the water. The technical information on the floating solar power plants is presented in this study. The plant's platform is made of hollow plastic or tin barrels, which enable it float on water, and is fitted with solar panels and other components. We'll go through the benefits of floating solar power plants.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

Volatility modeling and forecasting is a very important financial Time series research that has both theoretical and practical importance to the government, investors, academia, and private practitioners (modelers and forecasters), but it has received little attention. As a result, the current study serves as a link that bridges the existing gap in long-term memory stock in exchange rate volatility modeling and forecasting. The ARFIMA-GARCH model is used to analyze monthly exchange rate data for the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Botswana from 2000 to 2019. According to the literature, the GARCH model is inadequate for modeling and forecasting financial and economic time series data.........

Comparison of M20 Concrete Strength Characteristics Using Different Locally Accessible Fine Aggregates
Idiata, David Jacob, Ojo-Kayode, Ngozi, Osagie, EdoborKingsley
Nigeria
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

The affordability of building materials is critical in all types of construction. Bricks, cement, rod, and sand account for a sizable portion of total construction materials. The cost of building materials is not the only factor pushing up prices. The cost of blocks work and concrete contributes significantly to the overall cost of construction. The block work and concrete materials are primarily made of fine aggregates. Concrete is a composite material used to construct structures, and as such, it is critical that the materials used to make the concrete are of high quality and meet standards. The purpose of this study was to determine the strength of concrete produced from four locally available geotechnical fine aggregate in Usen town, Ovia South West LGA of Edo State, as a precursor to such materials being used as an alternative to river sharp sand in construction to reduce construction costs.

Keywords: Aggregates, Characteristics Strength of Concrete, M20 concrete, Construction.

Abstract

Farming is the backbone of Indian economy. In this agriculture sector, there is a lot of fieldwork, such as ploughing, reaping, sowing etc. these operations previously were done by traditional equipment's. This field faces some problems such as how to minimize the losses, how to increase productivity and how to minimize cost. In India, two types of agricultural methods are used, manual method (conventional method) and mechanize type method. In Manual method they are working with those equipment's was tedious and laborious. Also traditional ways are time consuming. Mechanization involves the use of a hybrid device between the power source and the work.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

In the implementation of a project, many factors can affect the continuity of work, thus affecting the success of the project. One of the factors that affect the success of the project is the delay in project completion or the inaccuracy of project completion time, as a result of which a project will experience a change in duration or delay. To be able to overcome the problem of delays in a project, it is necessary to control the implementation of each work item. With good control, this business can ensure that the work will be carried out in accordance with the provisions. So as to minimize losses caused by delays in implementation. One solution that can solve this problem is to speed up the execution duration. This study aims to obtain the optimum duration with efficient or minimum.....

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

We witness an increased number of IoT devices in almost every aspect of life. These devices are expected to work for many years, on their own and without any slowdowns. The key goal for devices that are completely battery-operated is energy efficiency and reducing that consumption to the minimum. In this paper, I will describe different techniques of consumption reduction of IoT devices that can be successfully applied in real projects. The described techniques reduce and take care of the consumption of IoT devices. The following techniques will be covered: sleep mode, the change of working effort and frequency, disabling, and not using intern modules.

Keywords: IoT, low power, deep sleep, lower voltage, lower frequency.

Nigeria
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

The ubiquitous nature of the power line network presents broadband over powerline as the choice technology for this telecommunication generation. Its inherent challenges are a major drawback on its acceptability and deployment. Noise, attenuation and multipath are the major challenges of this system. In this paper, cooperative relaying was deployed to better the reliability of the system. The noise component was mitigatedbefore applying the cooperative protocols of amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF). This noise mitigation system improves the bit error rate performance of the system. The effect cooperative relayingon the performance of the broadband over powerline system was investigated........

Keywords: Amplify-and-forward, channel capacity, decode-and-forward, symbol error rate, and outage probability.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 12 ~ Issue 12

Abstract

The freeze-thaw state of polar ice sheets is an indicator of global change, and its weak changes will have a huge impact on the global environment. Long-term observation and research analysis of polar ice sheets using satellite remote sensing data will provide an important theoretical basis for studying global climate change. Using SSM/I (special sensor microwave imager) data and deep learning algorithms, 1 988-2017 daily freeze-thaw conditions of the Antarctic ice sheet were obtained The freeze-thaw changes of Antarctic ice sheet were analyzed based on four indicators: start time, end time, duration and melting area of ice sheet. The results show that from the spatial distribution, the freeze-thaw of the Antarctic.......

Abstract

Under the new situation, the employment of college students is facing severe test and great pressure, and there is a difficult situation of employment. On the one hand, it is because college students lack of self-understanding, employment positioning is not accurate, the situation is more serious; On the other hand, colleges and universities fail to do a good job in employment guidance, graduates have a certain relationship with blindness. At present, promoting the employment of college students is an important task for colleges and universities. To improve the employment rate, we should make great efforts in employment guidance. We should not only do a good job in employment guidance, do a good job in help, but also be precise, so as to ensure that college students can find suitable jobs when they graduate.
